Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will pick you up at Beiijing airport and transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 02: Beijing
After breakfast, your first stop is the impressive Tian'anmen Square. From there you will enter the "Imperial Palace" known as the Forbidden City to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. You will then go to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the Emperors worshipped the Heaven for good harvests. Dinner at Beijing Duck restaurant followed by Acrobatic Show in the evening. (B+L+D)

Day 03: Beijing
This morning you will be taken to Badaling where you will experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. Lunch at local Chinses restaurant. Later the journey will take you to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the peaceful shadow of Longevity Mountain.(B+L+D)

Day 04: Beijing - Xian
You will take an afternoon flight to Xian after visiting the Summer Palace and the lovely giant pandas in Beijing Zoo. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to check in at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 05: Xian
The visit to the majestic Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start your today's tour. In the afternoon, you will visit the City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained at the Tang Dynasty Music Dinner Show after the famous Dumpling Banquet Dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 06: Xian - Dunhuang
Today you will visit the Provincial History Museum which houses a large collection of historic and cultural artifacts unearthed in Shaanxi Province and the Great Mosque. You will then take a late afternoon flight to Dunhuang and your Dunhuang guide will meet you and transfer you to the local best hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 07: Dunhuang - Turpan
Today you will visit the Mogao Grottoes. In the programs arranged this afternoon, you will experience a short camel ride along the Echoing-Sand Dune to reach the precious oasis of the desert, the Crescent Lake. After dinner, you will take the soft sleeper train to Turpan. (B+L+D)

Day 08: Turpan
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a finest hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Jiaohe Ruins, which is the largest, oldest and best-preserved earthen city in the world, and then go ahead to visit a local Uygur family and have a lunch there. In the afternoon the journey leads you to the underground Great Wall - the Karez Well and the Astana-Karakhoja Ancient Tombs. (B+L+D)

Day 09: Turpan - Urumqi
The first stop of today is the most valuable Buddhist cave in Turpan - the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, and then you will visit the Gaochang Ruins, along the way you will pass by the Flaming Hill. Transfer to Urumqi and check in at the hotel. (B+L+D)

Day 10: Urumqi - Shanghai
This morning you will be transferred to board a flight to Shanghai. Our Shanghai guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. You will be taken to visit Xin Tian Di, which is a newly developed recreation area in Shanghai with old styled buildings. You may find a cafe or western-style restaurant to have your dinner there during your exploration. (B+L)

Day 11: Shanghai
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the beautiful Yuyuan Garden. Then you will have some free time to stroll along the Bund to experience the thrills of old Shanghai. After sightseeing, you will be transferred back to your hotel to have dinner. (B+L+D)

Day 12: Departure from Shanghai
After breakfast transfer to airport for departure. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose as an extension to your China adventure! (B)
